Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the team behind Candy Crush Saga. Our programmers are at the heart of our game development. They are driven, talented generalists who contribute not only to the code, but to the entire product.

You have great passion for programming and a solid sense of quality and polish. As a developer you are also analytical and genuinely interested in understanding the whole tech stack. And, of course, you’ll need to know what makes a good game and will be working closely together with the rest of the team.

Your role within the Kingdom

  • As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of game features as well as contributions to the area’s technical road map. Design, architect, test and implement game features.

  • Not only deliver high quality and well- structured code but actively take an active part in game creation.

  • You are able to communicate effectively on technology and people challenges to the stakeholders and manage expectations.

  • You will engage and liaise with development teams across the business, both in Shared Tech and other game teams.

  • You are expected to Share knowledge and help colleagues. Get involved and drive initiatives across the game team, engage in conversations around design and architecture to contribute to an innovative and open culture.

  • This role requires a degree of leadership responsibilities

    • You’ll be responsible for leading a group of developers within the game.

    • You’ll be involved in the recruitment and interviewing process

    • You ‘ll work with the CODEV or outsourced team as the team lead

    • Lead the CODEV (outsourced) team

    • Facilitate and Monitor the needs and impediments for the CODEV ( outsourced ) team. 

    • Facilitate the CODEV ( outsourced ) team with estimations and planning. 

    • Capable of actively working with feedback as a tool to improve and grow as an individual and the teams. 

Skills to create thrills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experienced inter- department tech communication.

  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Previous experience working with C++  projects.

  • Previous experience with gaming is a plus.
