Senior Community Lead

We are looking for a Senior Community Lead to join the King Community Team, who is self- organized, player and people- focused, and has an excellent level of proactivity. This role is based within our Player Support department in Barcelona.

Your Role Within our Kingdom

  • Lead a team of highly committed and passionate Community Managers and Game Moderators

  • Coach, develop, and enable team members by consistently and accurately assessing their strengths and opportunities for improvement and providing direct and actionable feedback, training, and development opportunities

  • Define and execute the Community strategy, including methods for acquisition, engagement, moderation policies, and content building

  • Develop and implement Community- facing initiatives such as contests, promotional opportunities, events, ambassador programs, etc

  • Responsible for establishing and fostering effective feedback loops with our Studios that combine quantitative and qualitative reports

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technology, and industry news and events

  • Find and scope improvements on the capability of our platforms to drive efficiencies and UX

  • Define, report on, and conduct ongoing improvements to Community Management KPIs

  • Collaborate with Player Support leadership to maximize positive business impact

  • Coordinate with game teams and other internal departments to ensure that the Community team and players stay informed on game activities

  • Be an ambassador for the player Community and enhance the voice of the player to the rest of the company

Skills to Create Thrills

  • A minimum of 5 years in Community with at least 2 years of those managing teams

  • A consistent record running and growing highly engaged/self- moderated communities at an international level

  • Considerable knowledge of Community Management technologies and providers

  • A passion for games and experience working with gaming communities is required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with authority and confidence to a wide variety of audiences

  • A proven track record of exploiting and analyzing data and reports to understand the performance of the Community and initiatives implemented

  • A history of success in delivering transformational change that maximizes the potential of all team members

  • Player- centric approach, our goal is to help our players

  • Structured and organized with a strategic and analytical mindset

  • Positivity and can- do approach to overcome challenges and constraints

  • Proactivity and high energy to grow the role and the function within King

  • Excellent writing skills in English to communicate with our players

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to achieve outstanding results

Bonus Points

  • Experience in managing decentralized (people working from different locations) and multicultural teams

  • Experience supporting complex game products through community, being able to provide users with practical support

  • Experience building relationships with forum influencers and superusers to maximize their contribution to the community

  • Experience working and engaging directly with partners to raise the profile and the visibility of the function within the organization.

  • Experience using Vanilla forums, Zendesk, Affogata, Looker & Google Analytics
