Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Advertising Partner Manager that has a passion for digital advertising, data driven platforms and the gaming industry to help us scale a player- first advertising business. You will work collaboratively with an array of top tier developers and support services to create exceptional ad experiences that make a meaningful contribution to our games. You will play a pivotal role in defining what we build and why we build it.

Responsibilities

Business development

  • Establish new partnerships by successfully aligning with key stakeholders across our internal game studio teams on advertising monetization and Activision Blizzard Media’s (ABM) product solutions 

Relationship Management

  • Work with key stakeholders including game teams to partner in growing player life- time value and revenue of our games through the adoption and utility of our advertising product, services and solutions

  • Partner with a team of product marketeers, researchers and designers to develop and iterate on best practice and insight materials

  • Manage communication on technology stability issues, business critical incidents together with business impact across teams

  • Define opportunities beyond King’s other teams like marketing team, platform partnerships team to deliver incremental values for company

Partner & Product Enablement

  • Take ownership of product adoption, and realisation of product value and overall success by understanding a games production lifecycle and how adoption enables delivery of game objectives

  • Shape the direction and mobilise resources need to deliver actionable recommendations supported by data and analysis

  • Become an expert in ABM’s advertising technology, product and services; educate, share experience and train game teams on how to best leverage our set of world class products

  • Assemble product requests from multiple sources to clearly articulate current and future customer needs

  • Build business cases and analytical insight for new business initiatives: this requires identifying key issues, quantitative analysis and clear communication

Skills To Create Thrills

  • You have a proven track record in building strategic business- to- business partnerships based on strong understanding of both parties strengths and needs

  • Excellent business judgment and the innate ability to link business objectives to customer experiences

  • You are able to translate and document long term needs/objectives and set out clear milestones and deliverables to achieve these

  • The ideal candidate will be service oriented and willing to go the extra mile to ensure stakeholders and game studio partners are successful in scaling game performance across a range of disciplines.

  • Ability to interpret, internalise, and decision off of data

  • Experience working with mobile F2P games is an advantage

  • Education: Graduate Degree preferred.

Bonus Points

  • Experience/a proven track record managing or directly contributing to a live business during a period of rapid growth

  • Prior experience in mobile game development, mobile advertising or both!

  • Prior experience in startups, studios, and consulting firms

  • Candidates from customer success, consulting, game studios, mobile app development, and ad technology should apply.

  • You have an ability to demonstrate an understanding and experience in developing player- first game experiences.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
