We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior User Researcher to join our Fiction Factory team to help the team gather data on our users.
Over 3 billion unique devices have our Game Engine, Fiction Factory installed. Our engine powers King’s biggest franchises like Candy Crush, Bubble Witch, Farm Hero, and Pet Rescue. The Fiction Factory technology is made up of a highly optimised game engine capable of high quality 2D and 3D mobile gaming across a huge range of mobile devices.
A key part of this role is to be involved during production as you collaborate with the team by sharing their designs to users and gathering feedback for the team. You’ll also be involved in moderating interviews, to collecting data from surveys, which will enable the team to have a user- centric approach.
This role is suited to someone that’s curious to discover and attempt to forecast outcomes for a product and then validate those ideas.
Your role in the Kingdom
Lead all phases of research and deliver compelling study findings with concrete insights for teams in the form of workshops, written reports and presentations.
Manage and maintain relevant documentation to support research initiatives.
Partner with product team members (including UX Designers, Product Managers, etc.) to build research plans based on team goals and priorities.
Apply your research skills to identify users needs, pain points and opportunities and help guide teams into making informed user- centric decisions.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to create and uphold the teams vision for the product.
Help promote a culture of research with the wider product team.
Embracing a healthy feedback culture; we encourage our UX Researchers to give and receive constructive feedback as we strive to make even better products together.
Skills to create thrills
Relevant Senior level experience or extensive mid level experience as a UX Researcher
Expert in qualitative and quantitative research methods and user behavior analysis
Experience facilitating in- person and/or remote lab studies such as focus groups and interviews
Experience creating and maintaining research reports
Experience creating surveys
Experience facilitating workshops with cross- functional teams
Experience with guidance and mentorship
Understands fundamental statistics
Bonus points
Experience with creative software tools (for example, any of the following: graphic design, programming, 3D modeling, animation)
Extensive knowledge in Human- Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related fields, from industry experience or academic background.
Experience in marketing and branding validation
