Corporate & Internal Global Communications Executive, UK based

We operate on a Team First Hybrid Model, meaning you'll be able to work from home and come into the office (based in Soho, London) in line with your team cadence - we'd love to hear from you if you'd like to discuss this further.

The Communications Executive is part of King’s Global Corporate and Internal Communications team and is responsible for delivering the day- to- day internal & corporate communications functions across King’s business.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Communications, Corporate & Internal, and working closely with the Global Communications Managers, you will focus on:

  • Providing external communications support for King’s priority markets
  • Assisting with internal communications across all King offices
  • Maintaining and evolving communications practices, programmes and tools

Responsibilities

External Communications

  • Support on speaker event opportunities, assisting King spokespeople in delivering key messages at external events
  • Assist with external corporate communications, developing and implementing a communications programme for local markets that address key partner needs
  • Assist in delivering positive media coverage of King in key markets
  • Support with reactive media requests including crises and issues
  • Support administration of the in- house press office, including monitoring of press@king.com
  • Assist with media monitoring
  • Maintaining and updating the corporate website and press office pages
  • Maintain the communications asset library, including photos and videos
  • Work closely with partner agencies in key markets to deliver positive external communications outcomes

Internal Communications

  • Help drive the logistical delivery of monthly Kingdom Calls, Q&As and internal events
  • Represent Internal Communications on agreed internal forums
  • Prepare written and visual communications and distribute as required across the business
  • Support in developing and delivering the Internal Communication strategy
  • Support the measurement of internal communication activities
  • Draft updates on communications team activity to share with the business
  • Provide support for key events, including proofreading, collating information, supporting with internal comms, crafting, and updating PowerPoint presentations
  • Ad- hoc asset management and coordinating the creation of assets including video editing and briefing documents needed for projects e.g., Kingdom Calls, KingfoMarket
  • Assist with the internal communications calendar
  • Supervise internal email inboxes
  • Work in conjunction with the Communications Assistant on all administrative needs of the team

Required Skills

  • Previous experience preferably within a PR or communications agency or multinational/ matrix org within tech/ entertainment/ games
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English
  • An understanding of the different communications needs and audiences within an organisation and how to respond to those
  • Project management skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office packages
  • Possess the ability to work effectively and as part of a team in a fast- paced environment
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • Academic qualification in relevant subject area, degree/ diploma preferred
  • Professional qualification in Public Relations and/or Internal Communications desirable
  • Previous experience working within the games/ tech/ entertainment industry
  • Experience working in a global context and/ or matrix organisation
  • Experience working with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Employer Branding
