Principle Product Designer

You are a proven doer. Someone passionate about solving complex user problems across various user types. You leverage user research, analytics, competitive analysis, and other data to help alleviate user pain points. As a Product Designer, you have the ability to craft exceptional experiences in both advertising and gaming and impact how players engage with brands. You thrive on taking complex requirements and translating them into intuitive user experiences with beautiful designs. As a product partner, you’ll work with team members across Product Management, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, and Studios to identify and ideate on solutions to drive our products forward. You will report to our Head of Product Design and play an instrumental role in designing tools and formats at the core of our business.
Your role within Activision Blizzard Media:
Owning the end- to- end design process taking feature ideas and requirements from concept to fully clickable prototypes.
Understands users, needs, and features through research and exercises such as interviews, surveys, journey mapping, and personas.
Facilitates workshops to ideate on features, gather insights, and map out needs.
Utilizes Agile methodology to plan out design stories
Creates end- to- end user flows
Designs wireframes with a solid understanding of hierarchy and layout.
Create pixel perfect high fidelity designs using tools such as Sketch, InVision Studio, Figma, etc.
Create more complex prototypes using transitions, micro- animations, etc.
Partner with product, marketing, sales, data science, and engineering to take the work through the development lifecycle.
Lead ideation and think of innovative experiences before users ask
Validate design decisions through user testing and analysis of user insights.
7+ years of experience designing exceptional user experiences for top- tier brands
Ability to take higher- level stakeholders through the design process, research, and proposed designs and rationale for the execution.
