The Mobile Partnerships Team at Activision Blizzard King drives partner collaboration that fuels growth across our leading portfolio of mobile games. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, highly organized and execution- oriented individual to lead initiatives with the largest mobile distribution platforms.
You’ll play an instrumental role in ABK’s partnerships with the largest mobile distribution platforms, maximizing visibility of ABK mobile games with the app stores and creating joint marketing opportunities. You will support live games (Candy Crush, Call of Duty: Mobile, Hearthstone) and new game launches (e.g. Diablo Immortal). You will work alongside internal game and marketing teams and have a proven ability to foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Support live titles and new games to launch and beyond, by working closely with platforms and game teams throughout all stages
Interface and manage strong direct relationships with platform partners (e.g., Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) with which we build and distribute our games.
Communication -- review new game launches and large content updates with various platform partner teams.
Maximize promotional opportunities -- prioritize top campaigns and in- app events for collaboration with partners.
Insights -- present relevant company and product data at regular intervals to platform partners to drive execution of joint strategic initiatives
Project management -- evaluate, evangelize, resource, and execute support of new growth initiatives and technologies created and offered by platform partners
Work with game teams and marketing teams to identify, test and analyze opportunities (game features, mechanics, virality, marketing- related initiatives) on platforms
Leverage relevant company, game, industry and product data to develop insight analyses and recommendations for new product features and marketing initiatives
Analyze and track key metrics on how our games leverage platform features and channels to highlight trends and potential issues
Understand all aspects of platform relevant features, channels, Platform APIs / SDKs, breaking technical changes and other policies
Develop scalable processes to communicate platform updates, changes and action items to all studios and internal stakeholders
Skills to Create Thrills
BA/BS degree with strong academic record;
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex problems;
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs, Looker;
Excellent project management skills in managing external and internal stakeholders;
Ability to work well in a cross- functional and cross- cultural team environment;
Strong relationship and influencing skills
Bonus points
1+ years of related partner management or business operations experience in a gaming, media or consumer web/mobile services company (preferred, not required);
Analytical, with experience driving analyses and recommendations with data- driven framework;
Excellent oral and communication skills to express complex and analytical concepts
