Job Description:

Want to help shape and build a loyalty program for a beloved game that
impacts countless peoples’ lives every day? Does placing players first and
empowering cross- functional teams to develop towards that strategy
excite you? We’re looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer for our new Loyalty &
VIP team to join us and utilize their management experience and UX
knowledge to help lead, motivate and coach teams across our loyalty

This role is crucial in defining and building a global and market- leading
loyalty program where player centricity is at the center of everything we
do. You will report to the product lead and be responsible for defining and
driving the necessary investment to accelerate the roadmap to build
immersive, intuitive user experiences for our most loyal players.
 

Your role within the kingdom

  • Collaborate with the project sponsor and team leads to shape our program’s experience, strategic direction, and product offerings.

  • Developing and building relationships across teams, Product Managers and Directors to create a cohesive product.

  • Improve collaboration and player- centric knowledge sharing between all areas and members of the Loyalty & VIP team.

  • Identifying areas of growth in team members through coaching and mentorship, working with Senior staff and Directors to improve

  • UX/UI competencies.

  • Own the definition and realization of design solutions and improvements to drive commercial metrics and program KPIs

  • Identifying, building and retaining UX and UI organizational needs with the Product Lead to ensure quarterly, annual, and long- term roadmap success.

  • Advocating for HCI (Human- Computer Interaction) principles and providing design proposals demonstrate these principles.

  • Helping establish and guide the team to a more user- centric design approach, best practices and standards.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure our branding and Tone of Voice (TOV) are optimally integrated across the consumer journey and relevant touchpoints.


Skills to create the thrills

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Prior experience of being a manager or assuming management responsibilities in previous roles, not necessarily in the UX craft. 

  • Experience in coaching and mentorship.

  • You have a few years of experience in UX Design (We also value experience in other design and psychology disciplines)

  • You are skilled in Interaction Design, Information Architecture and Design Systems.

  • An exceptional understanding and experience applying HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) principles and UCD (user- centered Design) methodologies.

  • Championing Accessibility and Inclusion.

  • Lead the way in improving our design processes.

  • Able to facilitate workshops and training for the UX craft.

  • Experience with research methodologies 

Bonus (Nice to haves)

  • Experience in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Invision, Zeplin, etc.

  • Experience in scaling teams. 

  • Familiarity with Agile software development and its processes.

  • Mobile game development experience.
