Job Description:

The Technology Project & Operations Manager is responsible for working closely with the Head of Technology Strategy & Operations on a portfolio of projects for the King Technology organisation, as well as the King Leadership Team, which will involve collaboration and consultation across many departments and stakeholders in King and our parent company Activision Blizzard. The projects will be varied but technology focused and will include both longer term strategic initiatives as well as shorter term tactical work.

The role will involve engagement with stakeholders, building business case analyses, resource planning, project execution, progress measurement, status reporting and relationship management. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the King organization in driving technology projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive project execution, including leading project update and coordination meetings, defining schedules and agendas and tracking outcomes, communicating regularly with all stakeholders and updating leadership on progress and budgets and identifying issues for escalation, where appropriate

  • Create presentations outlining proposed projects, their goals and business cases, the stakeholders involved and proposed work plans and schedules

  • Collaborate with external partners/stakeholders and track delivery schedules and quality of deliverables and partner with internal business units to deliver successful implementation of partner solutions

  • Facilitate project retrospectives; identify areas for improvement and learnings

  • Own the execution of the team’s operations tasks within King’s Technology organization

  • Build relationships across King and the Activision Blizzard to help facilitate project execution and successful outcomes.

Desired experience & skills:

  • Experience managing and coordinating projects with a demonstrated ability to use project tools for analysis, tracking, reporting, and communicating across project managers, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors

  • Results driven and able to execute multiple complex strategic projects simultaneously;

  • Proven ability to interact with and influence executives at the highest level of a fast- moving organisation;

  • Highly personable with an ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across King and build relationships with third parties;

  • Ability to focus on critical issues to balance and respond to competing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Demonstrable personal interest for technology and mobile gaming.
