Marketing Studio: Studio Manager

We are looking for an organised and dynamic Studio Manager to join our in- house Marketing Studio to support the team as they deliver outstanding creative campaigns for our games and gamers. The position is full- time based in London.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOM

 

The Studio Manager will sit within our Marketing Studio and will focus on optimising the creative team’s workflow, and be responsible for all administrative functions of the team to ensure efficiency.

 

You will be exceptionally organised, a great communicator and have a deep understanding of production work- flows and scheduling – including graphic design and animation workflows, and ensure everything is running smoothly.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Overseeing the resourcing of all creative projects, managing daily schedules, reporting on project status, workloads and accounts and rescheduling based on new and changing priorities

  • Making sure clear and detailed briefs are received from stakeholders, on time

  • Reporting to management about the current workflow, and communicate any issues with workload coming in

  • Reacting quickly and efficiently to changing priorities and provide clear communication

  • Continually improving processes and documentation to simplify workflow, and increase efficiencies

  • Proactively tackling situations and stakeholders at all levels in order to unblock and ensure the correct process and deadlines are met

  • Acting as the point of contact with all project management tools (Workfront), leading on implementation, on- boarding, training and maintenance

  • Identifying freelance/vendor requirements from initial request, to onboarding to suitable exit

  • Managing central studio budgets

  • Line managing 2- 4 Producers and/ or Creatives

  • Maintaining and evolving a set of production processes to cover: onboarding, tools, documents, templates such as SoWs, Change Orders, estimates and project plans, as well as facilitate knowledge sharing and project wash ups

  • Facilitating weekly meetings, e.g finance, daily team Stand Up, team meetings etc.

  • Supporting the Director of Marketing Studio on the implementation of relevant operational aspects inc recruitment, learning and development, offsites

 

Essential skills required:

 

  • Significant experience working within a Resource Manager/Traffic Manager/ Studio Manager or Operations Manager role

  • Proven traffic management experience

  • Resourcing experience with high volume of projects

  • Manage multiple work streams in a fast moving environment

  • Ability to identify potential issues/risks

  • Experience working with teams of designers and creatives

  • Adept at briefing creative teams and reporting into clients

  • Great attention to detail and the ability to handle fast paced complexity and change

  • Good negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Constantly looking to improve efficiencies and iterate

  • Flexible approach to challenges with a solid understanding of the variables involved in project delivery
