Candy Crush Saga is building a world- class in- house UX team. We seek a Senior UX Designer to bring their passion for games, design, and user research to craft delightful and player- centric experiences for our players worldwide.

Your role within the Kingdom

Your role is to craft experiences that surprise, engage and delight our global Candy Crush Saga audience.

The role requires someone versatile and prepared to take on various creative challenges on a worldwide scale. Across all stages of the design process, you will work closely with other designers, writers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to uncover new opportunities, examine hypotheses through user testing, execute compelling design ideations, and develop end- to- end solutions which bring simplicity, intuition, and delight to complex systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You have an  enthusiastic and solution- focused attitude - you’re determined to ascertain the best outcome for all projects within a collaborative team.

  • You deeply value the importance of an elegant and efficient design process.  

  • You have proven success in strategic and design thinking along with validated expertise in content strategy, system design, usability, analytics, user testing and information architecture. 

  • You possess strong oral, written and social skills to express the rationale behind design decisions articulately.

  • You can present and articulate the vision purposefully and thoughtfully, and your design sensibility and a keen eye for aesthetics are unparalleled. 

  • You work closely with UX researchers to ensure that the product is going in the right direction - and when it’s not, you work with product leads and designers to iterate accordingly.

  • You explore new business opportunities and practices, tooling, and UX theories to enhance our methodological toolkits.

  • You mentor less experienced designers to build their skills, communication abilities, and design processes.

  • You ensure the necessary processes and resources for successful delivery, business outcomes and team success.

Skills to create the thrills

  • Knowledge of technical constraints, optimisation and implementation

  • Knowledge of and an interest in game design and freemium best practices

  • Experience working in an agile project environment

  • Experience working with Game Design and Narrative

  • Experience running co- creation sessions with product, design, and engineering
