As Interim Global HR Policy & Process Senior Manager you will make your mark by developing and implementing clear employment policies across King’s business. Ensuring that policies are culturally fit and compliant with local market practices, employment legislation and regulatory requirements, you will lead in the creation of HR processes, support documentation and create easy to follow manager and employee guides.
Partnering with HRBPs, HR Operations & Tech, Legal as well as Comms, you will ensure HR processes, user toolkits and documentations are scalable through tech solutions where applicable and reflect best practice.
You will lead on the education of HR users and employees in order to promote and embed a self- service culture when dealing with day to day HR activities.
Your role in the Kingdom
Lead the review, development and implementation of HR policies and processes for King’s business on a group- wide and local level
Proactively identify issues and improve current policies and employee guides as well as abolish obsolete documents
Identify key interdependencies of policies and processes and ensure that supporting guides and instructions are clear
Own the development of content on King’s intranet to supports employee interaction with policies and guides
Ensure that policy and processes comply with regulations and statutory standards and policies relate to the relevant business area
Drive the development of supporting toolkits and deliver training to HR users on the utilisation, application and interpretation of employment policies, processes and procedures to ensure consistent, high- quality advice is provided
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Operations & Tech and Legal to produce policies and employee guides and toolkits
Lead training and employees and managers to ensure they have a clear understanding of all policies as well as the capability to implement policies and guidance sensitively and fairly
Optimise all people processes and create templates for people processes that are flexible, complementary and practical
Work with HR Tech to ensure the people processes designed are integrated with King’s HR technology
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies with expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice within a complex global business
Evidence of championing equality and inclusion in policy development
Excellent drafting skill, including editing and proof- reading, close attention to detail
Proficient in developing user guides and toolkits on a range of people related matters
Experience in end to end process design and implementation
Ability to quickly engage and develop strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to different levels and platforms throughout the organisation
Ability to plan, organise, multi- task and deliver a high workload in a high paced environment while managing expectations and deadlines
Articulate and results- oriented with the ability to confidently deal with ambiguity and think creatively and deliver solutions
Solid experience of HR policy development gained from a global and matrix environment
Experience in developing employment policies in key locations e.g. UK, Sweden, Spain and Germany
Expert in UK and EU employment law with appreciation of GDPR in relation to employment matters
Experience of deploying HR processes and practices through HR technology, e.g. WorkDay or ticketing systems
Experience of designing, delivery of HR policy training and briefing for end users
Solid project management experience
