Job Description:

Are you passionate about Players? Do you want to champion player experience in research, the game production process and company strategy? Are you proficient in research operations and interested in a role on a fantastic tight- knit team?

We are looking for a professional with a background in consumer research and research operations. You will work within the Player Initiatives team, collaborating with various teams across King to ensure proper research operations processes are set up and followed.

You will work with UX specialists, designers and developers to connect them to our players and find answers to product design questions.

Your role within our Kingdom

As part of the Player Initiatives team you will assist with the day- to- day operational aspects of supporting the King Research Community. 

This role reports to the Director of Player Initiatives, VIP and Product and is based in Stockholm, London or Barcelona.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Source and recruit players from King games

  • Ensure a player- first approach through the entire experience by being the face and voice of King when engaging with players

  • Assist in the implementation of the best research methods to answer questions

  • Collate player feedback to help with research studies

  • Manage a backlog of requests to ensure timely delivery meeting stakeholder expectations

  • Assist in maintaining the player research data storage

  • Track project metrics to report on service performance

  • Maintain and grow the key relationships with King Researchers 

  • Scrutinise processes, systems and tools to maximise improvement opportunities

Skills to create thrills

  • Knowledge of how great researchers, and research teams, operate
  • Experience in player sourcing with strong customer- facing expertise and a good understanding of product development
  • Working knowledge on informed consent procedures and data governance in relation to research participants and data storage
  • Understating that research ops is more than just participant recruitment

Bonus points

  • Agile and proactive with a non- hierarchical mindset

  • A passion for players

  • Individual, but team player

  • Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Calendy and Survey Monkey

  • Gaming sector experience preferred
