Principal Game Designer - Live Games (Soda)

Your Role Within our Kingdom
As our new Principal Game Designer you will lead the feature design on a game with an experienced cross- discipline team.
Understand business and players' needs and provide well informed decisions
You will identify potential features to test and make recommendations to the production team
Develop a deep understanding of the player's needs and motivations
You will harness the creativity of the entire team to craft new features and obtain learnings
You will transform high level opportunities into concrete and well thought out game prototypes that can be tested and assessed to see whether they can become the hits of tomorrow
Documentation and tracking are your second home, you can help designers produce and update game briefs/specs that contain the right level of detail while staying concise and readable
You stay aware of the most recent market trends and propose innovative concepts for upcoming idea and experiments
Skills to Create Skills
Ability to develop and communicate complex systems on Core, Meta and Social layers
You can hold the vision for a feature from concept to release
You have experience with user centric design / brainstorms
You will have a consistent record of creating impactful features on live games
You’ve shipped casual games in a Game Designer capacity or similar
You’re someone who is self- motivated, who thrives in an agile environment
You have deep passion for creating polished, innovative gameplay experiences for casual mobile games
You bring deep knowledge of game design and design theory
Working in a humble and open manner, with a willingness to both teach and learn from your colleagues
The following skills would be very helpful for the role:
Previous experience with ‘Match Puzzle’ games (E.g. Match- 3, Clicker, Linker, Bubble Shooter…)
Experience working with big brands
Experience with both Level Design and Game Balancing
