Senior Agile Test Lead (Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for a Senior Agile Test Lead with strong agile testing and teamwork skills to help our teams deliver world- leading casual games.

The role is a parental leave backfill on a fixed- term contract until February 2021.

Responsibilities include

  • Providing strong QA leadership drawing on experience to coach and strengthen best practices within the embedded QA team- Collaborating with other crafts to build a culture of quality assistance

  • Coordinating work needed to ensure high- quality releases

  • Maintaining and prioritising the team bug backlog

  • Planning regression testing sessions with remote teams

  • Supporting the team in the design of user stories using BDD/Gherkin syntax

  • Identifying defects in requirements

  • Optimising team testing sessions

  • Assisting the scrum team with sprint planning, test design, test execution, defect analysis/root cause investigation & reporting on test status

  • Helping the scrum team identify quality risks and issues throughout the sprint and recommend options to mitigate/remove

  • Contributing to the creation of a regression test plan specific to the project

  • Being the point of contact and ongoing management of third party test providers

  • Assisting the team in the adoption of BDD, Kanban and other agile testing methodologies

  • Sharing learnings and improvement ideas with the Kingdom

  • Understanding of quality benchmarks and agile release cycles
  • Proactive and clear communication working across crafts and a large team
  • Able to influence QA standards across crafts
  • Experience in working with mobile devices, Facebook and other web platforms
  • Ability to work in a scrum team, sharing test responsibilities with the team
  • Ability to apply the principles of Scrum, Kanban, BDD
  • Proactive in requirement and planning workshops
  • Experience in assisting scrum teams in the adoption of Agile testing principles
  • Ability to identify gaps in requirements
  • Inspire and coach your colleagues to ensure quality standards are being applied throughout the SDLC
  • Awareness of Test Automation Frameworks for mobile and web applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using TestRail, Jira or similar
  • Effective management of 3rd parties
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with team members
  • Passionate about games
  • Willing to provide moments of magic to our players.
