Kingternships

Across every area of our business, all over the world, our interns get to hone their skills on some of the biggest games in mobile. But you might struggle to spot these Kingterns in the wild. Because they're embedded into the Kingdom just like our regular Kingsters.

Studying for, or completed, your MBA and ready to make your mark? Looking to boost your ongoing studies with real-world experience? Wherever you’re at, we’ve got you. 

As an MBA intern at King, you’ll spend your summer in the heat of the action. Collaborating – and socialising – with leading teams in the mobile gaming industry. Connecting with our leadership on critical projects. And influencing decisions that will steer our strategy.

Trainee Program

Over this 18-month program, as a Business Performance Trainee you'll get plenty of hands-on experience, as you rotate across three departments. At every step you’ll be mentored by our best, to boost your development and potential for growth.

Once complete, you’ll be ready to step into an established role, and carve out your own saga in the Kingdom. In fact, you’ll be following big footsteps. Many of our current leaders joined us through the trainee program.

Starting my journey at King as an intern, I was immediately struck by the level of trust and ownership granted to me. Kingternships
Our Kingternships are organized by craft. Check out the role descriptions to see where each position is located, and the closing date for applications. Generally, our Kingternships last 3 to 6 months. If you’re Barcelona, London or Berlin bound, they’ll take place in the summer. In Stockholm and Malmö, they happen in the spring or autumn. For thesis or vocational internships, your university or school will usually set the timetable.

MBA
Applications are open October – January for our summer MBA internships. 

Business Performance Trainee Program
Applications usually open in the autumn, the year before the program starts. The program kicks off in August/early September.

For lots of our roles you will need to do a pre-recorded video interview.

These help us get to know you and if you’re applying for a tech role give us a chance to see what you can do with coding and other tech tasks. You may then have a video conference or face-to-face interview with the team and be asked to share a portfolio or show us your skills in a role-specific test.

Yes, if you've recently graduated, then dive on in. 

Show us you really want to work with us. Do your research, dig into our history, and have an opinion on our games. Check out our values too and think about what they mean to you. 

Understanding all the role responsibilities and how your skills match them is key, and come armed with questions - this is your chance to quiz us! And we care about what you say, not what we see. So wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

At King some of us live to game, but all of us believe in the power of play. You don’t need to be a gamer, just passionate about what you do and ambitious to achieve it. A love for games can come later. Funnily enough, it always does.
