Job Description:


  • Technically strong hands- on people manager
  • Partner with Architects, Product Managers, and engineers to build one of the world’s largest mobile game advertising platforms
  • Work with the product team & stake holders to understand the business requirements and translate them into the development/design tasks
  • Evaluate and choose the right technology stack and build the Ads & Monetization platform to handle billions of requests per day and tens of thousands of requests per second
  • Coach, mentor and guide the technical and professional development of team members
  • Inspire the team to be autonomous, grow people's careers, and build technical leaders within the team
  • Own the overall goals of uptime and scalability of the platform 


  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading the development of low latency high performance scalable services
  • Led a team of 5+ engineers, and have 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Strong knowledge in Java or related backend technology stack
  • Experience with SQL & No- SQL database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, BigTable or similar
  • Experience working in a cloud- based environment with Google Cloud Platform or AWS or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with building large scale distributed applications
  • Strong understanding of messaging & streaming technologies like Pub/Sub, Kafka, Kinesis or similar

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus points)

  • Knowledge and experience in CI/CD, test automation, Jenkins, Gradle and related technologies 
  • Experience with open- source technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Google BigQuery 
  • Focused on usability, maintainability, and quality, building for the long term
  • Knowledge of advertising platform & technology
